為了擴(kuò)大取樣范圍，采樣器擴(kuò)展了5英尺（1.53米）的長度還有對不銹鋼絲程度的修改。擴(kuò)展單位長度，解開原來的鋼絲，在中間添加新的鋼絲，讓各部分的鋼絲穿過閘閥。
注意：由于塑料的彈性，稍長一點的擴(kuò)展單元更容易受到液體樣品的影響而彎曲。
Extension sections in 5-ft. （1.53 m） lengths are available to extend the Sampler and come with a length of stainless steel wire. To extend the unit, remove rope, untie the original wires, add the new wire between the two, and slide the wire through all the sections.
*NOTE: Because of flexibility of the plastic, longer units are subject to more bending when filled with liquid.
