Synonyms LDH-H, TRG-5, L-lactate dehydrogenase B chain, LDH-B, EC=1.1.1.27, Renal carcinoma antigen NY-REN-46, LDHB.
Introduction LDHB is part of the lactate dehydrogenase family. LDHB is an oxidoreductase which catalyses the interconversion of pyruvate and lactate with concomitant interconversion of NADH and NAD+. LDHB catalyzes the oxidation of hydroxybutyrate, and frequently called Hydroxybutyrate Dehydrogenase （HBD）. The LDH family consists of three members, LDH-A, LDH-B and LDH-C. LDHs function as powerful markers for germ cell tumors.
Description LDHB Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 354 amino acids （1-334 a.a.） and having a molecular mass of 38.8 kDa. The LDHB is fused to 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Formulation LDHB Human solution containing 20mM Trsi pH-8, 1mM DTT, & 10% glycerol.
Stability LDHB Human although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Purity Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
