Synonyms Immune Interferon, type II interferon, T cell interferon, MAF, IFNG, IFG, IFI, IFN-gamma.
Introduction IFN-gamma produced by lymphocytes activated by specific antigens or mitogens.
IFN-gamma, in addition to having antiviral activity, has important immunoregulatory functions, it is a potent activator of macrophages, and has antiproliferative effects on transformed cells and it can potentiate the antiviral and antitumor effects of the type I interferons.
Description Interferon-g Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 143 amino acids fragment （24-166） and having a molecular mass of 21.28 kDa with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag.
The IFN-g-His is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Formulation Interferon-g-His is supplied in 10mM Tris HCl and 50% glycerol.
Stability Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
Purity Greater than 95.0% as determined by（a） Analysis by RP-HPLC.
（b） Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
