| | Comments: | Animals were immunized with papain solubilized HLA A2 antigen. Spleen cells were fused with NS-1 myeloma cells. Mutation at position 107 of the alpha 2 domain of the HLA-A2 molecule results in partial loss of BB7.2 binding. [39935] BB7.2 and PA2.1 （ATCC HB-117） recognize overlapping epitopes on the alpha 2 domain of HLA-A2. [39936] The antibody cross-reacts with cells from various primate species. Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus （mousepox）. |
