血管系統(tǒng)是血管網(wǎng)絡(luò)，包括動脈、靜脈和毛細(xì)血管，允許血液進(jìn)出心臟。血管壁的結(jié)構(gòu)主要由內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞、彈性蛋白、膠原和平滑肌細(xì)胞組成。研究血管系統(tǒng)不同組成部分的力學(xué)性質(zhì)，以了解它們在體內(nèi)的結(jié)構(gòu)功能、血管力學(xué)和相關(guān)臨床問題中病理學(xué)的影響、血管結(jié)構(gòu)模型的發(fā)展和血管生理學(xué)的研究。

VASCULAR (VEIN AND ARTERY)
The vascular system is the network of blood vessels including arteries, veins and capillaries that allow blood flow to and from the heart. The structure of the blood vessel walls is mainly composed of endothelial cells, elastin, collagen and smooth muscle cells. The mechanical properties of the different components of the vascular system are studied to learn about: their structural function in the body, the effects of pathologies in blood vessels mechanics and related clinical issues, development in the structural modelling of blood vessels and research in blood vessels physiology.
